My Work (for staff)
My Work in the main menu is your own corner of AlphaLeague: your shifts, the time clock, time off, pay estimates, tasks, messages and paperwork. Every staff member has it — no special permission needed.
"Your sign-in isn't linked to an employee record yet"
If you see this, ask a manager to add you under HR → Employees.
My Week
Your home page in My Work:
- My upcoming shifts and hours scheduled in the next 7 days, with any request still pending.
- Open shifts you can pick up — Trades, covers & open shifts takes you to My Schedule.
- Today's tasks, new announcements, and your upcoming time off with Request time off.
Time Clock
My Work → Time Clock (also the Time clock card on the Dashboard)
- Clock in when your shift starts. No shift scheduled? Pick the Position you're working.
- Take breaks with Meal break (unpaid) or Rest break (paid), then End break. The screen shows which breaks are due and by when.
- Clock out. You may be asked for your cash and card tips and to rate your shift (How was your shift?).
- Forgot to record a break? At clock-out choose I took it, I waived it (you chose to skip it), or Leave as missed.
- Your facility may stop you clocking in too early, or only allow clocking in from the front-desk computer.
The kiosk
If your facility has a shared tablet or PC for the time clock: tap your name, enter your PIN, then tap what you're doing. Five wrong PINs within 5 minutes lock you out of the kiosk for 5 minutes. Your PIN is set by a manager or chosen during onboarding — keep it to yourself.
My Schedule
Your published shifts, open shifts you can pick up, and cover or trade requests. Tabs:
- My shifts — this week's shifts and total hours. On an upcoming shift:
- Request cover — ask a colleague, or Anyone who can work it, to take it.
- Trade — swap it for one of a colleague's shifts in the next four weeks.
- Drop — give it back to the open shifts for someone else to claim.
- Open shifts — Claim an open shift, or Take this shift when a colleague needs cover.
- Requests — requests Waiting for your answer (Accept or Decline) and My requests (Withdraw one you no longer need).
- Team schedule — everyone's published shifts, if your facility shares it.
Your colleague accepts first, and then a manager may need to approve. You're told the result, and the schedule updates.
My Availability
Tell your managers when you prefer to work and when you can't.
- Set my availability — for each day: Available, Unavailable all day, or Specific times (preferred or unavailable ranges). Pick the Starting date and add a Note for your manager.
- A manager usually approves changes before they apply (Send for approval). Sending again replaces a request still waiting.
- You see what's In force now, what's Coming up, and your History.
My Time Off
Your balances and requests.
- Request time off — choose the type (one of your balances, or a type that doesn't use a balance) and a reason.
- Pick the First day off and Last day off, or tick Part of a day for a few hours on one day.
- Check how many hours the request uses, then Send request. You'll get an email when it's reviewed.
- Your facility may need some days' notice, limit how many people are off at once, or block certain dates — the form tells you.
- Upcoming time off, Company holidays and My requests (cancel a request that hasn't started yet) are on the same page.
My Timesheets
Your time cards, hours and estimated pay for each pay period.
- Regular, overtime and total hours, and any missed shifts.
- Estimated pay is gross pay before taxes, from your time cards and paid time off. Your pay stub from payroll is the final word.
- Add a note for your manager on a card — e.g. "I forgot to clock out — I left at 9:30 PM".
My Tasks
Your checklists for the day. Tap Done on each task (add a note if it asks for one); Undo if you tapped it by mistake. Tasks shared with your team only need doing once.
Messages
Talk to your colleagues and managers.
- New message — pick one person for a direct message, or several for a group (give it a name).
- Enter sends; Shift+Enter starts a new line.
- In a group: see the Members, Add people, or Leave group.
My Documents
Your onboarding, documents to sign, certificates and reviews. Needs your attention lists what's waiting.
- Onboarding — complete each step of your new-hire checklist: personal information, emergency contact, direct deposit (bank name and last four digits only — give full details to the payroll provider), tax and I-9 forms (upload a PDF or photo), documents to sign, certificates, tasks and your time clock PIN. Some uploads wait for your manager to check them.
- Signing — read the document, tick the agreement, and type your full name (as on your employee record) to Sign. Some documents only need Acknowledge. You can also Decline with a reason.
- My certifications — add a certificate you hold (a photo or PDF); a manager will check and verify it.
- My reviews — when a review is shared with you, read it, add Your comments and Acknowledge it.
- Shout-outs — see the ones you've received, and Give a shout-out to a colleague.
Announcements
News from your managers. Pinned announcements come first. If one asks for it, tap I've read this to acknowledge it.
