Self-service portal settings

The client portal (/portal) lets clients book, buy, register and pay on their own — see the Client guide for what they see. You control it under Administration → Self service & website → Self-service settings.

What clients may book online, and the rules, are set per reservation type — see Schedule → Online bookings. What they may buy is set with Sell online on membership plans and packages.

Invitations

Existing clients join with an invitation — the safe way to link a login to the right client record:

  • One client: their profile → Invite to self-service.
  • Many: Invite clients here → everyone with an email and no login. The result shows how many were sent, skipped or failed, with the reason.

The invitation link works for 7 days and only once.

Branding

The portal uses your logo, colours, favicon and hero image from Self service & website → Branding, and works on phones (it can be added to the home screen like an app).

A separate client address (optional)

Your clients can use their own address such as book.yourfacility.com. Staff can't sign in there, so staff and client sessions never mix. Ask AlphaLeague support; your domain needs one DNS record pointing to AlphaLeague.
