Tournaments

Tournaments runs bracket events — single elimination or double elimination (winners and losers brackets, with a grand final and a reset only if needed).

1. New tournament — name, sport, start date and format (the format can't be changed once the bracket exists).
2. Teams tab — add the teams (and seeds).
3. Bracket tab — generate the bracket; byes are added automatically for uneven numbers. Schedule each match on a field and time.
4. Enter scores — winners advance automatically; correct a score if needed. A completed tournament's bracket is locked.

Brackets and results are public at /public/tournaments and can be embedded on your site.

Round robin?

For pool or round-robin play, use a league: its schedule generator builds round robins.
